Commencing on 2/9/19 The South Dandenong cement train is the newest service to be undertaken by QUBE logistics, it runs from Victoria Dock through the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne out to Dandenong as 9571 and returns as 9572. The down service leaves in the early morning and returns in the late morning-midday.
A variety of motive power has been used on this service, most commonly older CFCLA locos B76 B80 T369 T373 T376 and T377. less commonly leased SRHC locos X31 and B74 have made appearances. Newer QUBE locos G521 and G532 and CFCLA Gs G512 and G515, modern CFCLA locos VL356 and VL360 are the least common motive power however they have appeared on the service. At the time this page was written leased SRHC loco S303 is the only locomotive in QUBEs broad gauge fleet not to have appeared on the service. This service typically has a rake of 18 CQXY wagons is used on the service. |
