Each day, Pacific National operates a loaded cement train from Berrima (west of Moss Vale) through the Southern Highlands to the western Sydney suburb of Clyde. Sometimes Pacific National will run two cement trains ran in a single day if it deemed necessary. These Cement trains typically consist of a solo or double 81/82 class leading the train with around 20-30 NPRY/F wagons. The train may occasionally have a 48 class on it. In the past 80s and Series Three X classes were common on this train.
The train typically leaves the Berrima/Moss Vale area at around Midday and arrives into Clyde yard in the Mid-afternoon. The extra train leaves the Berrima/Moss Vale area in the Mid-afternoon, around the same time the first cement train arrives into Clyde yard and arrives into Clyde yard in the evening. The return service to Berrima from Clyde leaves at Midnight and arrives at the cement works in the early hours of the morning. The extra train to Berrima leaves Clyde at the same time the first cement train arrives into Berrima, the extra arrives in during the late morning.
The trains run as the following:
2134/2136 Berrima-Clyde
1233/1235 Clyde-Berrima
